The Law of Attraction and Fitness

The Law of Attraction and Fitness

I am sitting here at my day job and thinking about my evening workout.  This is completely normal, by the way!

I often sit and daydream of pumping iron, running marathons and performing stellar suicide drills.  Yep, I am a crazy wild woman and I love me!

So, okay, back to my point.

In a beautiful moment of thoughts coming together to form a wonderful epiphany I realized why incorporating physical activity into one’s life has this hugemongus effect on the quality of the individual’s life.  Have you ever heard of the woman who completely changed her life either right after or during her commitment to improving her health?

Well, here’s the secret…it’s the Law of ATTRACTION!!

If you are not familiar with the Law of Attraction, simply google it, or better yet – search the wonderful videos by Abraham Hicks.  I will attempt to give you a brief introduction to this magnificent law.

Law of Attraction 101

Our trusty online source for just about everything has defined the Law of Attraction as:

The law of attraction is the name given to the maxim “like attracts like” which in New Thought philosophy is used to sum up the idea that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts a person brings positive or negative experiences into their life.

There is a key component to making this law a success – which is to manifest something that we truly desire.  You see, the law works both ways.  And, many people are creating realities on a unconscious level and producing less than desirable outcomes.  The key is vibration.  And, vibration can be translated to how you feel.  When you vibrate at a high frequency, well then you are attracting positive experiences into your life.  When a person vibrates at a low or slower frequency, that person is attracting less than positive experiences in to his/her life.

Physical activity gets energy moving within the body.  The body naturally releases the feel good chemical endorphins into the blood stream, which gives us that exhilarating feeling after we’ve worked up a good sweat.

It’s THIS feeling that you want to roll with!

THIS is the feeling that will attract good things into your world.  And, the more you feel this form of awesomeness, the better!

My love for fitness has made my life everything it is today – from being able to parent 10 terrific kids – while working a full time job, overcoming the devastation of divorce, rebounding after heart failure, achieving academic accomplishments, reaching my personal development goals, and just the everyday stuff called Life!

Trust me; the commitment towards a more physically active lifestyle is so worth it!

You will get a hugemongus return on your investment!
